Who are we and what do we do?
Silverwood Rose was founded in Los Angeles by Rachel Hugh and Neil Potts, two people who have spent the better part of two decades building and running businesses before they started advising anyone else on theirs.
That background matters as it’s the foundation everything that we do is built upon. The decisions we help founders make are ones we have made ourselves. The problems we work through are ones we have lived. When we sit across from a founder navigating something difficult, we are not working from a framework. We are working from experience.
We offer two distinct services..
Creative Studio and Advisory Services.
Creative Studio and Advisory Services.
Our Studio
The Silverwood Rose Studio is a full-service creative and marketing hub, run from one place.
Most growing brands reach a point where the creative and marketing output is not quite reflecting the quality of what they’ve built. The social media is inconsistent. The photography does not match the brand. The website was built by someone who is no longer involved. Different people are producing different things with no central thinking connecting them.
Our Studio solves that. We cover brand strategy and identity, marketing strategy and execution, social media, photography and videography, design, and website design and build. Everything runs centrally, to one consistent standard. The brand thinking informs the content. The content is produced with the same understanding of the brand. Everything connects because it comes from the same place.
We have worked with founder-led consumer brands across food and beverage, hospitality, lifestyle, and emerging technology. You can see a selection of those projects on our Portfolio page here.
Advisory
Advisory is strategic, financial, and capital support for founders at the moments that matter most.
Whether that is preparing for a capital raise, navigating a significant expansion, getting clearer on the financial picture, or building out board-level support, we work directly with founders and leadership teams on the problems that actually shape what comes next.
We work across three areas: strategic advisory, financial and fundraising advisory, and board and advisory roles. In practice these overlap more often than they stay separate. A founder preparing to raise is usually also a founder who needs clearer financial visibility and a sharper strategic narrative. We cover the whole picture.
We are not accountants and we do not offer regulated financial advice. What we bring is practical experience of what a well-run business looks and feels like from the inside, and what investors are actually looking for beyond the materials.
